FAQ

Do you pickup around Brisbane for all orders?
We can organise pickups for all orders as long as we receive notification by 2pm the day prior to dispatch.

What type of freight does Cannon Logistics carry?
We deliver general and refrigerated freight as long as it is palletised or in bins.

How can I book freight?
You can book on our website by selecting the “book now” function throughout the website. This will take you to our booking form and you simply fill in all the details and press send. You will then receive an email confirming that we will contact you shortly and discuss the job.

What details do I need to fill out on the booking form?
Please fill out all the asterisk components of the booking form. Once you have filled in one box jus use your curser to move to the next box and fill out those details. Once you have completed all of the boxes with the correct information press “send” at the bottom of the form.

When will I know if the job booking has been accepted by Cannon Logistics?
When you receive an email, Cannon Logistics receives an email highlighting your job. You will receive an email or a phone call promptly from our friendly staff confirming your job details including pricing, pickup time and delivery time to the customer.
 
Where is Cannon Logistics facility for receiving orders in Brisbane?
We work out of Orbatran Logistics at 1201 Lytton Rd Hemmant. All orders need to be delivered there before midday on the day of dispatch for all country deliveries.

Will the drivers assist in loading and unloading of our freight?
All Cannon Logistics drivers will assist with the loading and unloading of freight. Most of our drivers have forklift tickets.

What locations does Cannon Logistics deliver to?
In the section “Services” and the page “Areas we service” you will find all the locations we deliver to. These locations are all highlighted on a map for easy reference.

How do I resize the map?
To resize the online map simple click on the “plus” symbol to zoom in and the “minos” symbol to zoom out. This is located at the top left hand corner of the Map.

Are Cannon Logistics transport vehicles able to monitor trailer temperatures and vehicle location?
Most of our equipment is GPS monitored for temperature control and also vehicle location. In the near future our customers will be able to log onto the system and track and trace their order.

Can I pay by credit card?
Currently we do not have this facility however you can pay direct to our bank account which is BSB: 484 799  Account: 201 341 316.

Can I setup an account with Cannon Logistics?
Please print off and fill in the details from our Credit Application page and then scan and email back to us on info@cannonlogistics.com.au. Or if you prefer you can also fax to us on 07 33 999 468. Margin media to complete

What are my legal obligations?
All consignors and receivers have legal obligations that are set out in the “Chain of Responsibility” section, it is important that you read this legislation and that you are aware to avoid prosecution.

Is there a weight limit on each consignment?
Yes there is a weight limit by law that we have to follow in carrying freight. Cannon Logistics are not in NHVAS Mass Management so the overall mass weight depends on the size trailer. The legal limit to one pallet is 1 tonne per pallet, so please make sure that you weigh your freight before loading into the vans for transport.

Do I have to have my product at the right temperature before loading or do your vans take my product to the right temperature for drop off?
The answer straight up to this is NO. Your product needs to be at the correct temperature at pick up, our vans are designed to refrigerate product in a cool environment not to reduce the temperature of a product that is already hot. It is also essential to pack your product with a good air flow through to maintain a correct temperature.

Does Cannon Logistics have a service guarantee?
Cannon Logistics will offer 15% off the next consignment should we fail in the service delivery of your product.

How much discount is offered on the Cannonball run?
The discount we provide will be changing constantly so keep an eye out for those specials. The discount will be shown on your invoice as a Cannonball run discount.

Is Cannon Logistics accredited in Fatigue, Maintenance and Mass management?
Cannon Logistics is accredited in Fatigue and Maintenance Management under the NHVAS guidelines. All our drivers are Certificate 3 qualified and trained and have completed their Fatigue management training with  Modern Driver. A copy of our accreditation is found on our website by going to the Quality Assurance page.

Is Cannon Logistics accredited under HACCP or Foodsafe?
Cannon Logistics is accredited under Foodsafe. A copy of our accreditation is found on our website by visiting our Quality Assurance page.
