Queensland Set the Record Eight!

The Broncos Origin quartet of Justin Hodges, Sam Thaiday, Corey Parker & Matt Gillett were all instrumental in helping Queensland secure a record eight straight Origin Series win in Sydney on Wednesday night with a hard fought 12-10 victory. 

All four have been cleared of any injury and will be back on deck for the Broncos at training on Monday. 

Origin III was marred by serial streaker “Wati Holmwood” who cost QLD Prop Matt Scott a try in the 78th minute. 

Wati is now the most hated man in Australia after interrupting what was by far the best game of the series. 

The Broncos have the bye this weekend and then face a must win game in the derby against the Cowboys in Darwin.
