Spring Produce Guide October 2016
We are well and truly into spring and are excited to see some favourites back in season. Fresh, light and versatile seems to be the theme for this month of produce and we are excited to share with you this month’s Spring Produce Guide October 2016.
Fruit
Avocados are making the best comeback this month, and although they can be found available all year round nowadays, they are best in season starting this month! This versatile fruit can bring that lunch sandwich to the next level, be used as a substitute of eggs when baking so you can still enjoy silky textured cakes, or just as a delicious extra in that garden salad. Mangoes are also best in season starting this month, like the avocado they add that extra zing to a salad, but you can also just enjoy them as they are – a light, refreshing snack.
