Winter produce guide: August
In less than two weeks, we’ll be into the final month of winter in Australia.
Winter has, this year so far, proved to be one of the colder ones experienced throughout multiple states and territories. But despite some more pronounced low temperatures, most of the typical fruits and vegetables that are in-season during this time are still in good supply.
Fruits
Many of your favourites, such as apples, oranges and strawberries are all in-season in August. So there are plenty of fruit salads and/or fruit smoothies to go around for those who want them.
